What were last three stars ? One for combat, and other 2 ?

I was just this combination and i really found it hard how to win combats because i didnt want to win bolster. Is it just sheer numbers of having multiple mechs at the same spot all the time?

I played with my friend for the fiesta time (on real board) and we played at 5 every time ,but I see you mostly play at 3 player ? Is it better ?

I dont understand why Crimea didn't defend the factory, they spent no card and no power!? huh? (at the very end)

Since you discussed the score calculator in this video. Do you feel playing around the table without the calculator makes it harder to stall the game?

Interesting, that only worked because the bug regarding the objective with having 3 buildings wasn't fixed, yet ^^ As Jamey stated on bgg: "The objective may be achieved if you have at least 3 structures, and none of the structures you have are next to your home base."

Crazy game. I played Polania Militant this weekend, and I thought it was a bad combination. But then I realized that from the beginning I didn’t play it properly. What an impressive game you played a few years ago!

I just had a multiplayer game as Nordic Agricultural with Albion, Rusviet, and Saxony. ...I couldn't go for the farms due to rus and albion attacks. I eventually built a mine on my mountain and didn't realize that saxony could attack it. I was so board with the game I just quit after getting attacked through my own mine. None of the players cared about popularity either. Difficult to build mechs with Trade/iron card not giving money and no access to farms for the 3 gold on agriculture. I don't mind losing but it was just so boring.

It seems like at about 30min you could have ended the game in 2 turns if you had used your Factory card to build a Mech and then use the move action to go from the Tundra through the tunnel to Rusviet's forest with a tunnel with the single worker -- that would have given you the Mech star and star for Send One Back. Then your next action would be Move taking your two Mechs and Character from the Factory and attacking the two Rusviet Mechs on the Mountain to give you the Combat Star. Am I wrong?

I haven't played online, only a couple times in person with the family, we just shuffle and randomly deal mats and factions out so there's no telling what you'll get each play through.

Maybe I don't understand Albion, but this game looks like something from a slightly different era.

To be honest, I was very confused by Nordic player's decision to make the "bet" he did in that first combat against your incoming 3 units. Can you comment on it a bit? Do people expect such moves to be a bluff?

Old video so I imagine i wont get a response, but did strategies like this come to you naturally? Been playing scythe for about 2 weeks now and the earliest ive been able to end a game is 18 rounds. Always amazes me to see how many times youve done it in less than 15

At 11:48 you were about to explain why you choose the Power trap. I would have thought you would choose the Combat Card trap for sure since Saxony only had 1 power.

Polania is also my favorite with Nordic as a close second. Grabbing encounters as Polania can just accelerate you so much and that feels great.

Instead of giving Der a coin, could you have waited one more turn and spent a coin to trade for a mech or bolster? I think you can turn in Roll Up Your Sleeves in between bolstering and doing your enlist so you can still take the coin from enlisting.

FOMOF - thank you so much for your videos! They are so insightful. Quick question, in the games I play I always try to maximize Popularity (Hearts). Not necessarily to hit 18, but at least to be above 13, as it seems that is how you get the most points. So I was very surprised when I heard you say in another one of your videos to always get the worker star. Whenever I have gotten the worker star it has been such a massive Heart-suck that I have never done well that way. But in this game I noticed you didn't pay any attention to your Popularity and ended in the lowest tier. I guess if you are rushing to end the game in the shortest turns then maybe it doesn't give other players the time to get high on the Popularity track, which perhaps mitigates the spread of points. But it still seems that having above 13 Popularity would be a chief way to get the most points. Do you have any comment about getting the worker star vs aiming to get above 13 in Popularity in order to maximize points?
